Clock rosin

Even with the adjustments to the drive pulley, the drive cord has begun slipping again.  To try to fix this, I slipped a small rubber band in the slot of the drive pulley.  Sadly, this didn't work.  Today, I tried something else: violin rosin.  I rubbed a block of violin rosin all over the drive cord.  It's not slightly sticky, so maybe it'll hold...
